What the test covers
Grammar
Tenses, articles, sentence structure and word order. Pick the correct form from four options. 5 questions, 12 to 18 seconds each.
Vocabulary
Words in context, phrasal verbs and word choice. Pick the most natural option for the situation. 5 questions, 12 to 18 seconds each.
Listening
A short audio clip plays in the browser. Press play, listen, then answer a question about what you heard. 5 questions, extra time per question.
Speaking
A phrase appears on screen. Press the microphone and read it out loud. The test checks if you said it clearly and completely. 5 questions, extra time.
Reading
A short text followed by a comprehension or vocabulary question. Tests how well you understand written English. 5 questions, extra time per question.
Error recognition
A sentence with a mistake in it. Find what is wrong and pick the correction. Tests whether you can spot and fix common English errors. 5 questions, extra time.
